Hello Chic Ones,

I got a lot of good feedback on my Instagram on this particular outfit so, I figured, I could share some tips on how to replicate this look or create a similar one by playing with different textures.

I like to push  boundaries and take risks and this look was put together while I was Spring cleaning my closet and going through older pieces that I have completely forgotten about. I absolutely adore textures and contrasts, so, when I came across one of my older midi skirts from Ann Taylor with a light tweed look, I immediately thought that this skirt may deserve a second look & a second chance …. if paired with yet another skirt made of leather :). Long story short, this layering maneuver was born and I realized that this can replicated with other textures as well, so, I decided to share this tip and dare you all to come up with other interesting combinations, such as: flowy chiffon + wool or … pleated chiffon + tweed, or fur + linen, or better yet, linen + silk etc.  In the flowing weeks, I will try some of these mixes as well and share them on Instagram but I also would love to see what you came up with.
