Boots are almost an all-year round accessory. You’ve seen them in mesh and with open-toe in the Summer, and with transparent or embellished heels, made out knit, or embroidered fabric .. You name it…  But why? It’s because they are so versatile.

The bottom line: boots are so cool now because they come in such a variety of shapes and sizes, they add some comfort and practicality (which I always welcome if it’s done in style!) and can modernize your look instantly.

I love these Charles David boots because they are so classic and yet unique. The heel is so stylish in that brown marbled finish and I love that they are made of this not quite navy but dark blue leather. Not your average black boot at all :-)

Their dark blue color allows for a variety of styling from light to dark -colored bottoms. But what makes them so unique is their understated elegance (classic lines, block heel , dark unique blue color) that makes them timeless and worthy of an investment. I styled mine with knit leggings this time and kept all the volume on top for a little drama. But stay tuned as I will feature some of the style tips provided below in my next posts.

·         add some contrast to your outfit, if you pair them with something very feminine, like a silk slip dress ( stay tuned for my next post when I’ll feature just that!)

·         add some grunge vibe to your outfit and balance  them with croppedpants  ( post on this look coming up so as well!)

·         add some city girl vibe if you pair them with maxi skirts or dresses

·         dress-up your look if you pair them with denim or khaki shorts.

Thank you so much for reading.
