How To Style Monochrome And Neutrals In Fall
Chunky sweaters, cozy coats and oversized scarfs.... That's what I love about the cooler seasons. I also love rich brown outfits and suede but also neutral outfits, which can be the perfect canvas for a statement bag or shoe. In today's post, I am going to address just that: how to style monochrome and neutral outfits in fall.
The key to successfully styling neutral or monochrome outfits in fall is to add contrast via colors and textures. So, if you are going to go with an all-grey outfit or an all-tan or ivory outfit, you will need to up your accessories' game.
- Add a pair of boots or heels in a contrasting color to your neutral outfit.
- Add the some ump to your handbag arsenal. Since your outfit is neutral and monochrome, you can pretty much add any color complimenting the fall season, suh as camel, rich brown, dark velvety blue or forest green.
- If you can add some dimension with textures as well, then do it. Suede, velvet , corduroy would make great contenders.
- You could create the same polished and interesting effect by adding chunky jewelry. Try the gold metal ones to compliment the season's foliage
