My Top 10 Pleated Skirts for Spring

Not sure whether pleated skirts are for you? Read on to learn one quick and easy way to style a pleated skirt.

Spring in the air, you guys! Blooming trees, brighter mornings and warm afternoons…. All remind me of how much I missed this season. I am so excited as I am sure you are too to exchange thicker layers for thinner ones and to style blushes and pastels J.

In today’s post, I am featuring a pleated skirt and I have included some quick easy style tips for those who have mixed feelings about this trend. As a reminder, I am petite, so, I always look for ways to elongate my frame to appear taller. I am also including a list with my top 10 pleated skirts for Spring.

STYLE TIPS:  Follow these two easy steps to appear leaner and taller:

  1. Style a mini or midi skirt. Go for earthy tones like me or try blushes, which are big this season.  Pair it with a t-shirt or a turtleneck and tuck it in. Add a wide belt to define your waist – this will instantaneously make you appear leaner and taller. Also wide belts are so in this season.
  2.  Add a leather or fur bomber like me. Bombers are still big this season. My preference is for the camel and dark green fur bombers and grey or red leather ones that also have chic and intricate stud details. A little contrast goes a long way and it elevates instantaneously any look, and these style tips will help you create a very chic and modern contrast between the sporty vibe of the bomber and the preppiness of the pleated skirt.
