How To Transition To Fall Elegantly In Simple Denim Jackets
I love transitional outfits because they allow me to wear pretty layers like light sweaters and cardigans, and cool jackets. September is a velvet like season to me: the sun is mild and warm like the touch of velvet, and the the little breeze reminds me of quiet ocean waters. And that's why although fall is not my favorite season, its beginning, just like the beginning of spring, are dear to me because I can rock cozy outfits such as light cashmere sweaters, and denim or leather jackets.
And that's exactly what I am featuring today: a simple outfit made out of dark olive pants ($25), a light cashmere sweater (under $70 - I've linked some similar options below) with nude shoes paired with a camel denim jacket ( will feature a leather one soon :-)). I hope enjoyed my outfit as I've linked below some style tips on recreating this look or your own version, in your preferred color palette, along with some similar options.
- Keep the look monochromatic for a more stylish vibe. To read more on the merits of a monochromatic look, read my post HERE
- Go for earthy tones so as rich warm browns or camels. You can also go with dark greens or combine the two.
- Add suede for extra polish. That will elevate your outfit instantly to a luxurious look.
